Your Majesty, My King, I honour Your holy name!  Lord Almighty, wonderful in counsel, magnificent in wisdom, I bless Your holy name!  Precious Jesus, You are my Saviour.  Holy Spirit, I worship You!  Glory to You in the highest! Amen.

In my last article, I wrote about my mother who was diagnosed with cancer on the lungs.  Well, after two weeks of prayer and nearly forty days of fasting within our families, the good news is that her lung capacity has improved with 10% in just two weeks.  That’s not even the beginning.  She was told by the specialist, after a scan, that the one lung is clear of any cancer.  Did you hear what I just said dear reader?  The one lung is completely healed, with no cancer and no spots.  Praise Jesus!  The other lung showed no more little spots which they thought might also be cancer and the only thing remaining on that lung is one tumour.

We praised God immediately for the wonderful news and the miracles He has done!  Immediately in my spiritual eye, I saw my mother going through an operation where they simply scoop off the tumour with a spoon, without damaging the lung.  Yes, that is what I stand on and that is what I believe.  You see Mark 10:27 says, “with man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”  This is confirmed in Luke 1:37 that say “for nothing is impossible with God.”  I know who I am and I know what God has showed me.  My mother has been healed by His wounds (1 Peter 2:24) and I declare openly, that I stand on my God’s promise in His Word.  Amen.  He also confirmed this for me in Luke 1:45 that says “blessed is she who has believed that what the lord has said to her will be accomplished.”

Now you may ask what does all this have to do with you?  Firstly I share a powerful testimony, because we are not to keep God’s miraculous interventions and miracles to ourselves.  Secondly I share my faith with you, because I want you to know that true faith lies in understanding your true identity.  I am saved by Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  The Holy Spirit dwells inside of me and I am clothed in His power.  I know therefore that my true identity is in Christ and therefore have no reason to doubt Him or His Word.  Praise Him!

On Easter Friday, 22 April 2011, as I read from my bible in Matthew 27: 32 – 46 about the crucifixion, I realised something for the first time in my journey with Jesus.  As they hang Jesus, they placed a board above His head, with the charge against Him saying “THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”  It then hit me right between the eyes as God revealed it to me.  You see dear reader, although Jesus asked of God before He was arrested to take it all away and to spare Him from having to go through what was lying ahead, God knew that if He granted His precious Son his request, the whole world would perish.

You and me, we would perish.  So God said no.  On the cross, Jesus reached a stage at the end, where He felt like God abandoned Him as he shouted out “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? – which means “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?”  Even here, I am convinced that Father God’s heart was bleeding for Jesus.  He so badly must have wanted to show His mighty power right there at Golgotha.  But no, it was not the plan.  God knew that Jesus would die and rose on the third day.  He knew that Jesus was going to destroy satan forever and that death, sin, sickness, and any form of challenge would be overcome.  Therefore, He kept silent.  He kept silent because of me and you, so that we could claim that victory of Jesus over every challenge, every day of our lives.  Praise God Almighty!

So where am I going with this?  You see dear reader, although Jesus’ request was not granted by Father God and although Jesus had to go through severe humiliation, false accusations, abuse, torment, pain and ultimately death, there was one thing God never allowed.  Are you ready for it?  What did the charge read above Jesus’ head?  It read “THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”  Do you get it?  God never allowed them to write something which was not true.  They thought that they were charging Him by writing it on the board, little did they know, that it was the TRUTH!  Not for a moment did God took away or allowed the crowd to take away the true identity of Christ.  This is so powerful dear reader, because that is my whole point in this message to you.  If you know your true identity, nothing can take it away from you.

You are crowned in His glory, if you accepted Jesus in your heart.  Once you don’t only say it, but start to realise and live who you truly are, you will realise what you have and then nothing will stop you.  Hear me right now, nothing will and can stop you!  Amen.  God knows your true identity and yes so does satan.  Therefore, it is a fact that satan won’t leave you alone and that challenges will come your way.  However, let me tell you one thing today.  Stop focussing on your challenges and start focussing on the truth of your identity.  You have all the power, wisdom and blessings to declare victory over any challenge.  Amen!  Now listen carefully, because I did not say fight off the challenge.  You don’t have to fight anything because the battle has already been won on the cross.  All you have to do is to proclaim your true identity in Christ and His victory over your life and challenges.  Amen!

Remember, Jesus is King not only for the Jews, but for everyone who gave their hearts to Him.  Dear reader always remember not to lose sight of who God is and who you are in Him.  Your true identity is your freedom and strength, in this most challenging world we live in.

With lots of love in Jesus Name

Princess K

PS:  Dear reader, please remember that the scripture used are from the New International Version.  If the scripture is read in another language and translation it might differ slightly.  A verse in the NIV might be a different one in your bible, i.e. Ps 37:3 in the NIV might be Ps 37:4 in your bible.  This does not always occur, but has happened in some instances.
