Glory to You God, my Father and King.  Praises to You Lord Jesus Christ, my Saviour and best friend.  Honour to You Holy Spirit, my everything!  Amen!

As I came to sit in front of the laptop to write this article, I realised that I had no title for this week.  I have an agreement that I don’t just write to write.  Yes I can write anything encouraging and you reading this article will experience upliftment, because Christ is in all I do.  Amen!  However, I said from the start of writing articles for Jesus that I will only write what He gives me.  In that way I know that it is all about Him and not about me.  Amen!  Hence, as I was sitting in front of the laptop I experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit telling me to write today about what is in my heart right now.  So, here it comes.  Are you ready to receive?

Over the past 2 weeks I have been hungering for more and more of Jesus.  I know He is inside of me and I know He is alive because I speak to Him the whole day, every day.  But, it is not enough for me.  I want to feel Him and see Him in every part of my life so that the more I have, the more I want and subsequently the more I will receive.  It is like a well, and I know this one will never dry up.  I realised that I am happy with whom I am but I am not happy with what I have.  I want to be emerged in His love and His presence 24 hours a day, no matter whether I am awake or asleep.  So, I decided to fast this past week.

I decided to put myself aside to allow the Holy Spirit to minister to me.  Oh, what a week I have had and trust me I am still in it as I write this article.  My decision to fast was to spend time with Jesus.  I simply gave up something in my everyday life and when I had a desire for it, I used that time to pray and worship.  I made sure this week that I only listened to Gospel in my car and opened my heart, ears and mind to receive.  I worshipped as I was driving, prayed at work even whilst sitting behind my desk and partaking in a meeting.  What I have been experiencing is mind blowing and I tell you, I feel Him, see Him, and experience His presence all the time.  It is like being excited about something good that is happening but the only difference is it does not stop, it is continuous.  Glory to Jesus!  Amen!

My question to you today is how close are to God?  Do you feel and hear Jesus everyday of your life?  Some people might say that they don’t need to experience Him 24 hours a day and if that is perhaps your opinion it is respected.  I am just sharing from experience.  You might not have to experience heart throbbing moments every minute of the day, but let me tell you what more would anyone want than knowing and experiencing the comfort of being loved and cared for all the time?  We all want to feel loved and special.  We all want to know that when things go wrong, we don’t just have to look up for help, but to immediately grab onto Jesus who is around you and inside of you.  Praise God for this truth!  Amen!

I want to share a scripture with you that empowered me this week and it comes from the book of James 4 verses 8 – 11: “Come near to God and He will come near to you.”  This scripture says it all and I lived off this scripture this week and am living proof of how I have experienced Jesus, simply by opening myself up and going to sit at His feet.  You see, when you step into the presence of God, all else fades.  We need to get back into the heart of worship and then we will experience God and every challenge on this earth will be dealt with.  God wants us to talk to Him and tell Him about our challenges.  He wants to help us and clean up our lives.  But, it starts with acknowledging Him, worshipping Him in spirit and in truth.  We must focus on Him and everything else will be dealt with (Matthew 6 verse 33).  Praise God.

Dear reader if you want more and more of Jesus then you will get it.  Draw near to Him, talk with Him and He will reveal Himself to you.  He is waiting to spend time with you!

With lots of love in Jesus Name

Princess K

PS:  Dear reader, please remember that the scripture used are from the New International Version.  If the scripture is read in another language and translation it might differ slightly.  A verse in the NIV might be a different one in your Bible, i.e. Ps 37:3 in the NIV might be Ps 37:4 in your bible.  This does not always occur, but happens in some instances.
