Your future is covered
We so very often struggle dealing with the future and not only can it cause unnecessary fear in our lives, it also sometimes leads to people taking their own lives, which is so sad.
Some fear for a lack of finances, others fear losing their jobs, then there are those that fear losing someone close to them, but one of the biggest and most challenging fears we deal with daily is the fear of getting cancer, also knows as the big “C”. Generally, we can sum up all these in one sentence; fear of the future!
Before I move on, lets talk about fear. If we are re-born Christians, followers of Jesus, we should never fear anything! We read in 2 Timothy 1:9: For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Praise God! This means that fear is not from God and therefore, if we fear, it means the devil is attacking us, which in turn means we can control it. How? Do as the Word says in James 4:7: Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
I want to share a testimony with you. Yesterday I went to the doctor and they took some blood, which needed to be tested. The sister who took the blood, shared a testimony with me, telling me that in December 2017, God showed her in a dream that she was going to lose her baby. She was 5 months pregnant. Although she was scared a bit, she did not worry to much as she knew God was in control. It did though make her think about it a lot, and she shared the news with a close friend.
Three days later she had to go to her Gynaecologist for an ultrasound and a general check-up. The Gynaecologist told her that her baby had no heart beat and was dead. At first, she was shocked, yet calm. The Genealogist were shocked how well she took the news and kept on asking her if she was ok. She kept telling the Gynaecologist she was fine as she knows God was in control.
The Gynaecologist then told her that the baby also had no arms or legs, which also did not bring the lady down. She was then told that the baby has been dead for 5 weeks already, which the Gynaecologist explained as impossible to not have had any symptoms thereof. The lady was sad, but so strong, as she felt that the Lord did this to protect HER, not only for now, but also for the future. Also, Jesus spared her from any pain or symptoms!
My friends in Christ, Jesus knew what was going to happen and he prepared this lady ahead of time so that she can deal with the challenge when it arrives. Why? Because He loves her just like he loves YOU and want to protect you and carry you though anything you go through or might go through in the future.
God can see ahead of us and He goes before us, into the future, to prepare a way for us to deal with the challenges we are going to face. Yesterday I read this powerful phrase: Faith tells me that no matter what lies ahead of me, God is already there! Let me give you a verse from the Bible that proves this. Let us read from Deuteronomy 31:8: And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you, nor forsake you. Do not fear nor be dismayed. Wow! Praise God! Hallelujah!
My friend, if we walk with Christ in our lives, then it doesn’t matter what we might go through in the future, God is already there, making a way for us to deal with it and get through it. Today my message to you is this; DO NOT FEAR THE FUTURE, because God is already there looking out for you and He will never leave nor forsake you.
