Have you ever felt that you are not worthy of God’s forgiveness or His love, that you are too far from a righteous way of life that there is no way for you to have a life in Christ again? Do you feel ashamed of the sins that you have committed, too ashamed to ask for God’s forgiveness?

Then do you not know that God loves you unconditionally, meaning His love is not only for the righteous or the good or the rich or the poor. God’s love is for every single one of us. No matter what you have done in your life or what you have not done. In Romans 5:8 it says:” But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

The Lord does not love you because you know Him or you praise Him or on any other terms, He just loves you, because He made you, because He is your heavenly Father, no matter what you have done.

From the moment you were born your mother loved you, cared for you and protected you.., you did not do or say anything for her to love you…, she  just did, she loved you because you were her child! Now can you not believe that God loves you just because you are His child? In 1 John 4:19 it says: “We love because he first loved us.”

God loves us and wants us to accept Him as our savior; He wants us to need Him. God wants us to make Him a part of our lives and show us the plan he has for us. God wants us to believe in Him, not only that He exists, but we should believe that He can change our lives, that He is in control.

The Lord is awaiting you, He is knocking at your door and He will never give up on you, all you have to do is accept and you can receive all the promises God had given us.

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

God does love you unconditionally, there is nothing you can do or say to change that. He is waiting for you to accept Him into your heart.

The men that were crucified with Jesus were criminals and the men that crucified them, but still Jesus wished them forgiveness.
