God says he know us all by name. He knows what our needs are and exactly how many hairs we have on our heads, where we’ve been and where we’re going, who we love and what we want and what we have done and still will do.
Even though He knows everything about anything and everyone God still asks us to pray asking for what we need. Now why would God want us to ask Him if He already knows? The answer to that is simple. If God just provided in all our needs and never let us experience difficulties in our lives, if he never allowed us to get hurt or let us fail, if the Lord just did everything without us asking, would you have known God? Would you have seen the things He does for you? No.
God wants us to pray; He wants us to be in a relationship with him and wants us to know Him. God wants us to believe in Him and trust in Him, have faith that He would hear our prayers. God wants you to know that you need him.
When we pray, believe and receive, we see the wonders God does in our lives, we thank Him and realize how great He is. If there was no prayer and trust and God just provided, we would never have had a relationship with Him, we would have never seen an active God in control of our lives and never know how much we need Him.
And when you pray and God does not give you what you asked for, don’t be dismayed remember, God is GOD and He always wants the best for you and knows what’s best for you. Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours, in Gods time and in Gods will. And IF not, He has something better!
Trust in God! He is almighty! He knows what you need even if you don’t; He loves you even if you don’t love yourself OR love Him. He has the BEST plans for you, fully guaranteed to work. He loves being your God and taking care of you. ALL you need to do is trust Him, trust that He knows best.
Because He does!
