Part 1 (Women Warriors Arise)

TO ALL MEN:  Please continue to read Part 1, as it directly affects you as well.

Towards the latter part of 2019, God started speaking to me regarding my role as a woman in Christ.  It was clear that although I was already working for Him, I needed to prepare myself and other women for what was coming and hence, what we need to know to arise as warriors for Christ.  As there is much to share, I will break the message into smaller articles and once completed, it will also be available as an e-book.

Message.  On 31 December 2019 as we entered 1 January 2020, I received a very clear message for us as women:  WOMEN WARRIORS ARISE!  God showed me three important things.

Many men allow themselves to be influenced by the world and in this process, they have moved further away from God and His decrees.  In this process of not going to church and not reading the Word of God, fathers have forgotten their roles as kings, prophets and priests in their homes and hence have not taught their children about God and His Word.

This ripple effect on a family and community is devastating because we know that God says in John 15:4 – 6: ““Remain in Me, as I also remain in you.  No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.  Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.  I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.  If you do not remain in Me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.””

Off course the opposite applies as well.  When a man comes to know his true identity in Christ and takes up his full authority and role as given by God, he will desire God’s will and direction in his life.  He will be saved, his family will be saved, and the ripple effect of saved men and families are life changing for communities, cities, countries and the world.  The devil knows the devastating effects for men who don’t follow Christ, but he also knows the devastating effect for himself, when men do take up their authority in Christ.  Hence, he goes at our men, with full force.

Women are created as suitable helpers for our men (Genesis 2:18), but we are also mothers who love, care, nurse, motivate, listen and are available day and night for our loved ones.  We work, manage, plan, organize, study and still manage to exercise, cook, clean and show love to our husbands.  Yes, God indeed made us very special and unique.

However, we need to keep our focus on our calling as women, firstly in our homes and then off course wherever God places us for His will, whether in the business, economic or education spheres, to name but a few.  Let us, women in Christ, arise and take up authority over the enemy, as we claim back what satan has taken from us and that, which has been given to him.  We need to claim back our husbands, children, finances, health etc. and we need to do it now.

BATTLE PLAN

Reading through the Old Testament in the Bible, we read so many times that when a king moved away from God and His decrees, his kingdom and the nation came to a fall.  However, where a king followed God’s decrees, his kingdom and the nation prospered.  As mentioned before, many men have relinquished their authority, families are torn apart, Bibles aren’t read, and churches are running empty.

The results are devastating, and love, humbleness and respect have been replaced with hatred, pride and lies.  People live for themselves and step on those who come in their way.   There is an increase in destruction all around us, including theft, murder, corruption, loss of identity, sexual immorality, rape, abortion and even parents who no longer have full legal authority over their children.

This is all against the Bible and signs of a kingdom falling, in this case, I am referring to families.  It is all spiraling downwards and God alone can save us.

There is no more time to waste! WOMEN WARRIORS, ARISE!

PART 2 – BATTLEPLAN (GOD’S ARMY & SALVATION)

With the increase in natural disasters, pestilence and destruction all around us, we realise that the coming of Jesus and hence, the end of the world as we know it, is coming closer.  This is also the time when more people realise that Jesus alone can save, heal, protect and provide for them.  Hence, there is no more time to waste and we as WARRIORS in Christ, need to ARISE.

God’s Army.  No warrior goes to war, without a leader, battle plan and weapons of warfare, otherwise you will fall at the hand of the enemy, before the battle has even begun.  God is Sovereign and the Creator of us all.  In Colossians 1:16 we read: “For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.”  God created us in His image (Genesis 1:27) and appointed us to be fruitful, to fill the earth and subdue it.  He also gave us dominion to rule on the earth (Genesis 1:28) and therefore we must manage that, which God has entrusted to us.  With that said, every warrior in Christ therefore fights in God’s personal Army and Jesus, is our Leader.

Salvation.  In John 14:6, Jesus says: ““I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”  There is no other way to God, than through His Son, Jesus Christ.  It is not enough that you grew up in a religious home, went to Sunday School, go to church every Sunday and read your Bible every night.  All the leaders of the church who crucified Jesus, did just that and still they were lost in Scriptures and when Jesus Himself came to give them a relationship with Him, they did not recognise Him.  I went to Sunday School and church and yes it gave me a good foundation, but not a relationship with the Holy Spirit.  Although I knew of God and His decrees, I still had a foot in the world and hence, were more easily influenced by the things of the world.

The more I read the Word of God (Bible), I realise that Jesus wants a personal relationship with us and when I made that decision at the age of 12 to invite Jesus into my heart as my personal Saviour, His Holy Spirit entered me and now dwells in me.  Everything in my life changed.  I had a confidence that stood up like never before and my outlook on life changed.  He changed my thoughts, actions and decisions and I desired and still do, to live and work only for Him, no matter where He sends me.  Unless you are there, you will not understand it, but the best I can describe it as, is that I have a well of living water inside of me, restoring, refreshing and sustaining me, every moment of the day.  Jesus is alive in me!

Therefore, the first step in the battle plan is to know Christ, as in to know His heart.  Hence, you need to be saved by Him and in Him, with His Holy Spirit dwelling in you.  Only then, you will fully surrender to Jesus’ leadership in your life and will follow Him as the General in God’s Army.  Know this today, He is not a distant, selfish and ego driven general, but a General who sets the example of a true warrior.  He sacrificed Himself in the greatest battle that mankind has and ever will see.  Jesus gave His life on the cross for you and me and is the ultimate sacrifice of love that concurred satan, death, sickness and hardships.  Our General does not just give life, HE IS LIFE!

Warriors be encouraged today!  You are not in an Army who fights for power, recognition or economic gain.  You fight in God’s Army, who has ALL power, authority and strength to trample on snakes and scorpions and to demolish all the strongholds of the enemy.  Your General is the King of kings and the Lord of lords and His name is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.  Jesus Christ, we salute You and choose to rise as Your warriors, ready for battle.

PART 3 – BATTLEPLAN (GODLY POWER, AUTHORITY AND IDENTITY)

Saved in Christ and part of God’s Army, we do not fight for power, recognition or economic gain.  We fight in His Army, who has ALL power, ALL authority and ALL strength to trample on snakes and scorpions and to demolish ALL the strongholds of the enemy.  Our General is the King of kings and the Lord of lords and His name is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.  We fight for the glory of God and we win by the grace of God!

Baptism in the Holy Spirit – Power of the Holy Spirit.  In Acts 1:8, Jesus says:  “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  When you gave your heart to Jesus, His Spirit came to live inside of you.  Hence, a well of living water within you and a heart on fire for Christ.

However, there is more!  Jesus wants us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptize them and teach them to obey all that God has commanded us to do (Matthew 28:19 – 20).  Once baptized in the Holy Spirit, you are saturated with the power of the Holy Spirit and then you are not just a well of living water, but you become a river. That river cannot be constrained and flows over.

Then, you can go anywhere and to anyone that God sends you to, in order to proclaim the Gospel of Christ.  You are unstoppable and fearless, with a blinded trust (Hebrews 11:1) that God will always be with you, in you and will go before you.  Warriors, this is critical in moving forward, as it does not only mean moving physically anywhere in the world, but also spiritually.

In the spirit, through the Holy Spirit, you can be anywhere, at any time, as the Holy Spirit directs you.  God’s Army is active all the time, everywhere and human restrictions do not apply.  If you have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit, you must desire this with all your heart.  Ask the Holy Spirit to come and pour out the fullness of His power over you, to enable you to go and be a witness, even to the ends of the earth.

Take up God given Authority, Identity and Role.  John 1:12 says: “Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.”  Let us have no doubt, that we are sons and daughters of the Living God.  Jesus has been given ALL authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18) and He says in Luke 10:19 – “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.“

Furthermore, as we read in Acts 1:8, we receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on us.  Yes, Jesus said in Matthew 10:16 that He is sending us out like sheep among wolves, but we need to realise that we have God given authority and therefore, we have no reason to fear the enemy.

Be encouraged that God says to us in Isaiah 54:16 – 17: “See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work.  And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.  This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD.”

Warrior in Christ, take up your stand on the battle ground, knowing that you have a Father, who has given You His Son, His Holy Spirit, and all the authority that you need, to face any storm.  Being fully equipped, do not prolong in putting on the full Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10 – 20), taking your stand in Christ and facing every enemy that comes at you.

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to direct you to the assignments that you need to undertake.  Take up your identity, role and authority in Christ and move forward, like the Kings and Queens you are!

PART 4 – BATTLEPLAN (KNOW AND USE GOD’S WORD)

As warriors in Christ, we need to take up our stand on the battle ground, knowing that we have a Father, who has given us His Son, His Holy Spirit, and all the authority that we need, to face any storm.  Being fully equipped, we must not prolong in putting on the full Armor of God, taking our stand in Christ and facing every enemy that comes at us.  We must take up our identity, role, and authority in Christ and then confidently, step into and complete the assignments that God gives us.

Know God’s Word.  Every warrior that are trained for battle, must first undergo training.  Training includes an understanding of war doctrine and strategies, getting to know the enemy and to conduct practical exercises to be ready to deploy.  The same apply to the spiritual battles that we face daily.  We have solid doctrine, which is the Word of God (Bible).

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1).  God Himself is the author of His Word.  The Word of God is a lamp for our feet and a light on our path (Psalm 119:105).  God’s Word is telling us about the Past (History), Present (what is going on now) and the Future (what will be).  There is nothing new, that God is not aware of (Ecclesiastes 1:9).  Yes, there are new inventions and ways of doing things, but the Lord gives wisdom and from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding (Proverbs 2:6).

Therefore, it is crucial when you are placed on a battlefield, to know the Word of God.  It is not just enough to read it, for the ones who crucified Jesus knew the Scriptures by heart, yet they did not understand it.  We need to read, study and eat the Word of God and with the help of the Holy Spirit, get insight and understanding to what God is revealing to us about Himself, His Plan and hence, our purpose and future.

In Part 3 we discussed the importance of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and now we can see how critical a relationship with the Holy Spirit is.  He is the One who gives us the insight, knowledge, wisdom and understanding of God’s Word.  If we do not know the Word of God, how then will we use it against the enemy?

Use God’s Word.  Remember, satan also knows the Word of God and will challenge you with it.  You must eat, swallow, and digest it so that you live by it daily.  When the attacks of the enemy come, you must stand firm on God’s Word and in faith, with the authority that you have in Jesus name, use it as your weapon of choice.

Ephesians 6:13 – 17 says: “Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Warrior in Christ remember that the Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword.  When you pull the sword of the Spirit (the Word of God) and use it against the enemy, it will penetrate even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow.

It will judge the thoughts and attitudes of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).  Nothing can stand against the Word of God (Romans 8:31).  Make sure that you choose the right weapon (Word of God) to use against the enemy.  Get continuous training on the use of this weapon (Word of God) and use it in faith and with the authority that you received from Jesus Christ.

PART 5 – BATTLEPLAN (DISCERN, FOCUS, UNITE)

Nothing can stand against God’s Word (Romans 8:31).  Therefore, it is crucial when we are on the battlefield, to know and use the Word of God in faith and with the authority in Christ.

Discernment.  We live in a world where so many things are ambiguous.  Satan already knows that should he come directly at us with something, in our face, we will see through him.  Hence, he misrepresents it and brings it to us in a very attractive package, giving us a half truth and the rest is a lie.  As we face battles of immense proportions in every area of our lives, we now know that we need an understanding and knowledge of God’s Word and that we must use it against the schemes of the enemy.  We also need clear discernment to determine, not only the difference between right and wrong, but also between right and almost right.  To do this, we need the help of the Holy Spirit.  1 Corinthians 2:14 says: “The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”  Whenever something comes up in your life, which is new or unknown, test it against the Word of God.  With guidance from the Holy Spirit, you will be able to distinguish the difference between right and wrong as well as right and almost right.  The Word of God is very clear on the difference.

Keep the Focus.  Ephesians 6:12 says: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”  In the battle, we need to keep the focus on the goal and not allow ourselves to be distracted by flank attacks.  The enemy’s intention is to attack our blind spots and weak points, with the aim to distract and then overtake us.  We need to remember who the enemy is and to keep our focus on God and the goal He has set for us.  For example, when you have a teenager or a co-worker, who seems to be impossible, stop trying to solve the matter in the physical.  Yes, there is a time to address something in the physical, but when it seems that you keep hitting a wall, change your approach.  Do not see them as the enemy, but as the person who are being used by the enemy, to get to you.  Remember, your fight is not against flesh and blood.  Move into the Spiritual realm, hence look upward and through the Holy Spirit, take your stand and win your battles there, where the Angels of God stands and fights with you.

Remember, the enemy is not afraid of you, but of the One (Jesus) who is in You.  He will retaliate and it will get messy, but do not fear, for Perfect Love (Jesus) drives out fear (1 John 4:18).  Never go at the enemy in your own power, but in and with the Power that you have received through the Holy Spirit, in the name and by the blood Jesus.  Now stand firm, for if you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all (Isaiah 7:9).

Unite as Warriors.  You might be one warrior in a battle with many Angels by your side, but you are not alone as there are many other warriors out there.  You need to unite with them in fasting, prayer, studying the Word of God and taking up battles with them.  When you are saved in Christ, you have the authority of Christ in You (Luke 10:19) and you are a fierce warrior in Christ.  However, there is power in unity.  Mark 3:24 – 25 tell us that if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.  We also read in Ecclesiastes 4:9 – 12 that “two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.  But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.  Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.  But how can one keep warm alone?  Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”  Together, in Christ, we are stronger.

Warriors do not approach the battleground unsaved!  When you step unto the battleground, go as a united force, saved in the blood of Christ, armed with the Word of God and in the power, authority, and discernment of the Holy Spirit.

PART 6 – BATTLEPLAN (KNOW THE ENEMY)

When warriors step unto the battleground, they need to go as a united force, saved in the blood of Christ, armed with the Word of God and in the power, authority, and discernment of the Holy Spirit.

Who is the Enemy?  Now that we, as Warriors in Christ, know who we are and that we have authority over all the powers of the enemy (Luke 10:19), let us make sure that we also know the enemy and his schemes.  When we know our enemy, we can be proactive and successful in the execution of our strategies.

Ephesians 6:12 says: ““For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.””  You see, your president, the political parties in your country, husband/wife, colleagues, employees, friends, and children, are not your enemies.  They are sometimes used by satan who wants you to see them as the enemy, instead of him.

The devil comes in many disguises and uses people to bring down people.  However, this can only happen when people are lost in this world.  When people are not in a personal relationship with Jesus, hence not using their God given authority, satan comes along, deceives them, owns them, and use them.  The devil has no power other than that, which has been given to him.  He has no future and is not a creator.

We read in the Bible that he is the devil an accuser (Revelations 12:10), ruler of the kingdom of the air (Ephesians 2:2), prince of this world (John 12:31), father of lies (John 8:44), thief (John 10:10), tempter (Matthew 4:3), prince of demons (Matthew 12:24) and he even masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).  Revelations 12:9 says: “The great dragon was hurled down–that ancient serpent called the devil, or satan, who leads the whole world astray.  He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.”  Let us see the real enemy, for who and what he is.

Aim of the Enemy.  Satan lost!  We read it throughout the Bible.  He hates love, joy and peace and hence wants to break down anything or anyone who stands for Jesus.  John 10:10 tells us that “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.”  Remember, he also wants to divide us, and we already discussed in Part 5, that when we are divided, we will have difficulty to stand against the enemy (Matthew 12:25).

Weapons of the Enemy.  The devil has many weapons, but one stands out for me, namely fear!  Amongst others, there are also lies, unforgiveness, love for money, idols, manipulation, hatred, pride, doubt, judgement, sexual immorality, addiction, low self-esteem, sickness, failures, uncertainties, and division.  He uses our pasts, the things we struggle with now and even tell us that because of our sin, we have no future.  He comes to people with a half-truth and once deceived, he pulls them into his web with the aim to use and abuse them.

Good News.  Although it all sounds dark and gloomy, as soon as a person is saved in Christ and they take up their identity and authority in Christ, satan has no more hold on them.  The blood of Jesus forgives (1 John 1:9), heals (Isaiah 53:5, Psalm 103:3, 1 Peter 2:24) and sets free (Romans 8:2).  The good news is that Perfect Love (Christ) drives out fear (1 John 4:18).

Warrior in Christ take courage today in the words of Jesus Christ Himself: ““I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace.  In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart! I have overcome the world”” (John 16:33).  In Christ, you are chosen, saved, forgiven, set free, have a purpose and a future.  You have authority over all the power of the enemy!  So yes, know your enemy; but never fear him nor give him any place in your life.

PART 7 – BATTLEPLAN (PUSH FORWARD)

In Christ, you are chosen, saved, forgiven, set free, have a purpose and a future.  You also have authority over all the power of the enemy!

Push Forward.  There is an increase in destruction all around us and it is all spiraling downwards, with God alone who can save us.  This is the time for us as Warriors in Christ to take up our stand on the battle ground, knowing that we have a Father, who has given us His Son, His Holy Spirit, an identity in Him, and all the authority needed (Luke 10:19), to face every challenge, storm and enemy.  Being equipped with the full Armour of God (Ephesians 6:10 – 20), we must no longer delay in taking our stand against the enemy.  Even if we lose a battle, we will win the war, for the victory already belongs to Jesus Christ our King.

When we know our enemy, we can be proactive and successful in the execution of our strategies.  As we step unto the battleground, we must remember who the real enemy is.  He comes to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10).  He will use anyone and anything to execute his plan and his master weapon is fear.  However, we must remember that when we are saved in Christ, the enemy has no hold on us.  We go into battle, without fear, for Perfect Love (Christ) drives out fear (1 John 4:18).

Our aim is to win souls for Christ by sharing the love of Christ, and giving people the truth that the blood of Jesus forgives (1 John 1:9), heals (Isaiah 53:5, Psalm 103:3, 1 Peter 2:24) and sets free (Romans 8:2).  We need to remember that nothing, absolutely nothing, can stand against the Word of God (Romans 8:31).  We must step unto the battleground, as a united force, saved in the blood of Christ, armed with the Word of God and in the power, authority, and discernment of the Holy Spirit.

Warrior in Christ, now is the time to push forward, being confident that He who began a good work in us, will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).  As you fight and fall, do not be discouraged or dismayed, for you will never be where you were yesterday.  You need to be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:9), knowing that you are not alone (Joshua 1:5).  When you grow tired and weary, take courage from God, who says, that you can do everything through Christ who gives your strength (Philippians 4:13).

Yes, the battle is real, and it is spiritual.  There is no more time for games.  We need to move in the power of the Holy Spirit, and with the authority that God has given us.  We must take our stand in the Spiritual realm, where God’s Angels, stand with us.  As you go into battle, remember the battle plan:

Saved in Christ and part of God’s Army, let us as Warriors in Christ, stand up, take our place on the battleground, stand firm in our identity in Christ and remember that we do not fight for power, recognition or economic gain.  We fight in God’s Army and through Jesus Christ, we have ALL the POWER, ALL the AUTHORITY, and ALL the STRENGTH to trample on snakes and scorpions, and to demolish ALL the strongholds of the enemy.  In Christ we are, unshakable, fearless, and victorious!  We FIGHT for the glory of God and we WIN by the grace of God!

PART 8 – ACCEPT JESUS (SPECIAL INSERTION)

JESUS CAME TO MY RESCUE AND HE CAN DO THE SAME FOR YOU. ACCEPT JESUS INTO YOUR LIFE TODAY AND SET YOURSELF FREE!

For God had such love for the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life.  John 3:16. I am the true and living way: no one comes to the Father but by me. John 14:6. If the Son sets you free you are free indeed. John 8:36

JESUS IS CALLING ON YOU TODAY, WHAT WILL YOU DO?

I know you might not want to read this letter, but PLEASE do, as this can change your life today! Today I want to tell you that God loves you so much.  Yes, maybe you heard this before, but today is different.  HE REALLY LOVES YOU and He want to come live inside of you, help you, guide you, rescue you, heal you and give you eternal life.  He really wants to have a personal relationship with you!

Why you might ask? Well because He created you and wants what is best for you. A friend one day shared this news with me as well, even though I did not want to listen.  The thing is, at the end, I did listen, and I accepted Jesus into my heart, and it changed my life forever! I want you to experience this same great love and be saved.  In fact, I would hate to see ANYONE lose out on an opportunity to get to know Jesus.

Jesus loves you; He loves you so much that He DIED for you on the cross, that you could be set free, be forgiven and enjoy eternal life.  All you need to do is to accept Him into your life!  For God had such love for the world that He gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in Him may not come to destruction but have eternal life. John 3:16.

The best of it all is that Jesus wants you to come to Him just the way you are, no matter who you are, where you are from, what you look like or what you did.  He loves you just the way you are, and He wants a personal relationship with you, right now.

Rev 3:20 says:  See, I am waiting at the door and giving the sign; if My voice comes to any man’s ears and he makes the door open, I will come in to him, and will take food with him and he with Me.  Jesus “knocks” on our doors on a regular basis but He does not force us to open it, He leaves that choice to us.  Today Jesus is giving YOU that choice to open the door and let Him inCome to Me, all you who are troubled and weighted down with care, and I will give you rest.  Matt 11:28.

If you want to open that door today, if YOU want to accept Jesus into your life, if you want His love in your life, say this prayer:

Father God, I acknowledge that You are the one and only God.  Jesus, I acknowledge that You are the Son of God and that You came to earth, died on the cross for my sins and overcame death through the resurrection.  Jesus, I acknowledge that You are now in Heaven and preparing a way for me.  Jesus, today I accept you into my life and my heart.  Jesus, please come live in my heart.  Holy Spirit I now welcome You into my heart.  Father in the name of Jesus please forgive me all the sins I have committed.  Please be what I say, think and do so that I will know and do the will of my God.  Amen!

My friend, thank you for taking the time to read my letter, I believe it changed your life today.  If you don’t mind, do not keep this news to yourself, share it with someone else who you know also needs the love of Jesus (which is pretty much everyone in the world).  Let us make sure that EVERYONE gets to hear the good News and the opportunity to accept Jesus into their lives.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations on accepting Jesus as your Saviour today!  Glory to God, glory to God!  Praise the Lord!

If you are a child of God, remember that you need to, daily, proclaim that Jesus is King over every area of your life.  Daily, you must break curses satan puts over your life and in place of that proclaim that by the blood of Jesus you are saved and protected.  In Jesus name, call in victory over your marriage, family, children, communities, areas where you live, your work, health, and finances.

For you at one time were dark, but now are light in the Lord: let your behaviour be that of children of light.  Eph 5:8

I ACCEPTED JESUS INTO MY LIFE, NOW WHAT?

Perhaps you are asking, “Now what?  How do I begin my journey with Jesus?”  The seven steps mentioned below will give you some direction, but if you need more help, please visit and read through our Articles, E-Books and Bible Study pages, as there are a lot of motivational content that will help you grow in your relationship with Jesus.

  1. Purchase a Bible and start reading it, starting with the New Testament. James 4:8 tells us that if we move closer to God, He will move closer to us.  The more we read the Bible, the closer we move towards Him.  God also speaks to us through the Bible and the Bible offers us all the info we need for our journey, our new life in Christ.
  2. Become imitators of Jesus. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 11:1 that we need to become imitators of Jesus.  This means that we need to do what Jesus did when He was on earth.  If we read the Bible, we will also know exactly how to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.
  3. Join a local church or home church. It is important to surround yourself with other followers of Jesus, as this will help you grow and create a support structure.  Followers of Jesus go through many trials and tribulations; therefore, we need people to support us.  Jesus says in John 16:33 that we will have trouble in the world. He also said not to worry as He already overcame the world.  The Holy Spirit is also with you wherever you go, therefore Jesus will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5), no matter what you go through!
  1. Get baptised. We read in Acts 2:38:  Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.  And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  Galatians 3:27 reads: For all of you who were baptised into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.  Getting baptised is a powerful and spiritual step towards a greater relationship with Jesus.
  2. Resist the devil! Oh yes, he is going to try and make you believe you are not saved and that you are still a sinner.  He will also constantly try and remind you of your past and try and take you back there, back to sinning.  In 1 Peter 2:8 we read that we need to be alert and of sober mind, because the enemy, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.  We also read in James 4:7 that we need to resist the devil and he will then flee from us.  It is important to remember that when you accepted Jesus into your life, you became a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), the old is now gone and forgotten!  Your past has been wiped out!  You have been saved and set free!
  3. Spread the gospel of Jesus. Now that you accepted Jesus into your life, share this great news with others, helping them to experience Jesus in their lives.  In Matthew 28: 19-20 we read about the expectation of Jesus over our lives:  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.  We also read in Matthew 10:8:  Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.  Freely you have received; freely give.
  4. Have faith. Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith it is impossible to please God. We also read in Matthew 17:20:  If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.  Nothing will be impossible for you.”  It is also very important that we have faith, even if we do not see results.  We read in Hebrews 11:1:  Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
