Every day, everyone deals with some sort of challenge; it is part of life. Some challenges are so hard that we feel to just give up. Sometimes we feel as if we will never get through it. Most times, we don’t understand why we must go through it, we just cannot see meaning in it.
Albert Einstein quoted: “In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity.” This quote from Albert Einstein is powerful and so true. But God also tells us this and when God says it, then it MUST be true: John 16:33: “In this world you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world.” In Jeremiah 29:11 we read: “I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
By just reading these 2 verses we can clearly see that we will have trouble, we will go through difficult times, and we will have challenges, sometimes difficult ones, but He gives us the comfort that those challenges have already been overcome. He also gives us comfort in the fact that no matter what we are going through, the end result WILL be to benefit us, because He does give us a future full of hope, one from which we will prosper.
I also want to read 1 Cor 10:13: “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. Praise God.”
Even death brings a benefit and an opportunity if we are true followers of Jesus. Yes, my fellow Christians, even death. Jesus says in John 11:25: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”
I am sure that by the scripture I have given you now, you would agree with me that NO challenge is to big and there is an opportunity or benefit to each one, we only need to be patient and have faith. We also sometimes need to just get quiet before the Lord and see what WE need to do, as sometimes there is a message for US in a challenge, something we need to do.
I end with this: Jesus is bigger than your challenge and any challenge you may ever face. Hang in there, your breakthrough is on its way.
God bless you,
