Know what you’re up against

Satan was created by God. He was made perfectly and beautiful and his name was Lucifer that means “Day Star”. God meant for him to be righteous. In Ezekiel 28: 14 – 17 God says how unique satan was and how he betrayed God.

“You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.”

So you see that God had made him wonderfully, strong, wise and beautiful? But he decided that he wants to be worshiped, that he can stand against God and what God wants for us. So he is here and he is busy everyday between us, trying to mislead, corrupt and destroy all the wonderful things God wants for us. In 1 Peter 5:8 it says: “Be sober minded, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

So what is the moral of the story?  Satan is wise, he is powerful, he is strong but! He is not good and means only to do you harm and will do anything to stop Gods work in your life. You need to understand that without God you cannot see what the devil is doing in your life, just like God has plans for you; the devil has his own plans for you as well.

Do not be blinded to think that it will be obvious; you must remember that God has made him and HOW God has made him. All the things you can do he can do better, He is smarter that you, stronger than you and will outwit you. He will not come when you expect him, he will not be rude and ugly and he can work through anybody and anything. That is why it is of upmost importance that you have accepted God into your life, that he is your father and leader.

Because HE is MOST awesome and Glorious, HE is the smartest, strongest most powerful, righteous undefeatable loving, saving GOD….he IS the ALMIGHTY He is above All; and only with his love and guidance and absolutely all your trust are YOU stronger than satan. Only in the name of Jesus are you stronger than Satan!

Romans 8:31 “What shall we then say to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us?”
