Have you ever tried to do something you thought was absolutely important and it flopped miserably? And no matter how much time, effort, sweat and sleepless nights you put in, it flopped anyway and you’re left feeling like a total failure?

Sometimes no matter where we turn, whether it is left or right, we can’t seem to find the solution to the problem that’s facing us. And sometimes the problem facing us is so big that the faith that we once held onto slips away and life doesn’t seem worth living anymore. The circumstances we’re under and pressure from our buddies, along with fear can sometimes lead us to make bad decisions. There are times in our young lives that pressures and misfortunes can affect us and our faith takes a heavy beating. But it is during these times of trials and tribulations that our character is being formed and a time for us to lean more on God than to rely on our own strength to pull us through (Proverbs 3:5).

When your world starts to fall apart and you cannot put the pieces back together again, hold on tighter to your faith and don’t question God; for He know what He’s doing. Rather praise Him, thank Him and embrace what He is doing in your life (Job 1:21). When you face trials and suffering, ask the Father to give you strength to preserve, for suffering produces perseverance, perseverance character; and character, hope (Romans 5:3-5). And hope in God never fails! The hope that we have in Christ is eternal and we know that when the going gets tough, we go down on our knees and pray.

Maybe your best friend is dating your girlfriend or boyfriend, who you thought was your soul mate, behind your back. And you loved this person with everything you had and you don’t see how you going to get through this. Hold on to your faith because it will carry you through. Whatever you problem may be, Jesus can solve it.

Remember, Jesus didn’t say we wouldn’t face troubles, but He promised to face them with us. Faith doesn’t get you around trouble, it gets you through it. Hear the voice of the Good Shepherd behind you saying: “Hey, I’ve got your back.” (Isaiah 30:31).

God Bless,
