In sickness and in health

 This article is for married people that have challenges with their marriages, their finances and their health.

The Lord Almighty says that when you are married then your body and your soul IS CONNECTED WITH ONE ANOTHER!! I’m a young teenager with no experience of marriage what so ever but our Heavenly Father told me to give this word to the rest of the world.

The first thing that hit my mind is 1. HEALTH : we all are challenged daily with our health, sometimes it can even lead towards death but until that moment comes YOU HAVE TO BE THERE FOR EACH OTHER!!

My grandmother passed away about 4 months ago, throughout her life she was medically diagnosed with cancer, asthma, strokes, ext. but the thing is, through everything my grandfather was with her and he was there when she was SICK AND HEALTHY!! He didn’t care whether she could move or not, HE HELPED her no matter what the case was! I encourage YOU to do exactly the same because that is what the Lord expects from us!!

The second thing on my mind was 2. FINANCES : everyone is challenged with money, if it is when they are young or old, everyone has a time of struggle! The Lord says that He will provide for you and He will give you what must be given and He will take what has to be taken!

I’m not a poor man and I’m not a rich man but as a normal human being I also want more just like everyone else. We are never satisfied with what we have! There is a story I once heard about a man that was deep in payments and didn’t have money.  When he had to pay R1 000 he didn’t have it but then God gave him R1 000 somehow and his payments was paid but he still wasn’t happy because he didn’t have money for himself. But look at the bigger picture, if God didn’t give him that R1 000 he still would have been behind with payments!

My parents work with our money but still we don’t go each week to eat out, I don’t get something I want new each week NO!! I get something sometimes as a surprise or when I work for my money around the house and can buy something for myself but the thing is that we keep on expecting that surprise each day and when we don’t get it we are mad, sad, angry, etc.

If you don’t have money pray to Jesus for help but don’t just sit and hold your hand out for it, work as well. The Lord says that He will do anything for you but you should work and do things for Him as well!

The last thing that was on my mind is 3. Marriage itself : relationships are torn daily because of people sleeping around, men and woman who are challenged with pornography, alcohol, money and work!

If one of these items fall in your life then I ask you humbly to talk about it with your life partner! Don’t hold it back for yourself, because when they find out, which they eventually will, that is when the trouble begins.  Where if you talk about it then you can help each other to get through it together as a couple. Remember you can do all things through Him that gives YOU strength (Phil 4:13).
