Thank you for taking the time to read this very important announcement, which I write with tears in my eyes.
Over the last couple of years, the amount of donors and the value of the donations dropped quite a bit, this while the cost of running a radio station, website, and a ministry in general, increased a lot. It has now become a big challenge for us, as we are not able to keep up with the cost of running this ministry and have reached a point where the one person who earned a salary, cannot receive one anymore.
The reality is that everything costs money, even the work of the Lord, and those who work in the ministry also must pay rent and buy food, just like any other person. When I started Jesus to my Rescue 15 years ago, I knew that it would be challenging, but I did it anyway, not just because I wanted to, but because Jesus told me to do it, after having a personal encounter with Him.
But now we have reached a point where I had to make tough decisions. Over the last couple of months we stopped some of our services, cancelled with many of our service providers for the website and kept all outreaches at a minimum, hoping that in time our donations will increase, which did not happen, in fact it continued to drop.
Jesus to my Rescue Radio (JTMR Radio) has been going for 3 years now, with an average of 6000 listeners from all over the world, but unfortunately, will come to and end on 23 April 2023. It is a very sad day for me as the Radio has become such a powerful tool to spread the Gospel of Jesus through our shows, Sunday Sermon Live, In die Lig, Family Matters, Enjoying Everyday Life and Focus on Israel.
As for the ministry and the website, we will continue for now, and for as long as we possibly can. We are looking into more ways to save money, and should the need arise, we will also consider stopping all outreaches as well as the website. We ask that you PLEASE pray with us for finances. Running a website is costly and we would hate to lose it. We reach more than 1 Million people every single year through the website and social media channels, thousands of them accepting Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, many being healed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and many who gets support in various ways.
Brother and sister, thank you for your support through the last 15 years, for your prayers, donations, and sponsorships. You will be richly rewarded by our Father for your willingness to help those in need. It has never been about me, or the ministry, but only about Jesus, and you have made it possible for us to help millions of people all over the world over the last 15 years. THANK YOU!
