Dear God.  Glory to You in the highest! Blessed be Your name!  Precious Jesus, You are my Saviour and I adore You.  You are my best friend and I trust You with my life!  Holy Spirit, You reign in my heart and in my life.  I love You Lord!

In the last couple of months my husband and I have been requested to pray for and pray with other people facing challenges with their health, work, finances, marriage and faith.  This also included a challenge that our own son and other family members were facing.  We then realised once again that all these people are not strangers, they are in fact all people who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  So we started asking ourselves: “what is going on here?”  Like always, the Spirit of God is so true and He revealed to us that the followers of Christ are constantly under attack.  Things are looking good and the next minute you feel lost and alone.

Is this you dear reader?  Are you under attack?  Have you reached a point where you have said: “I am ready to give up” or “I can’t go on anymore” or even “where is God in all of this?”  If this is you reading this article, I want to tell you right away, that you are not alone.  We as the Jesus to my Rescue team are here for you.  We will support you in prayer and remember that even in the loneliest hour of your day, there are people ready, waiting to guide and pray for you.  Please, never believe satan when he tells you that you are alone and that you have no one and nothing left in this world.

Dear reader.  As Christians who have a close and personal relationship with Christ, we must know that Jesus had warned us to be prepared, saying in Mathew 10:16 “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves.”  He knew then and He knows now, what is going on in this world.  He knows what you stand for and He knows all about the devil’s schemes.  That, dear reader is why he died for us in the first place.  He knew we would be under constant attack and that satan would want to steal our dignity, self-worth, relationships, finances etc.  Remember, He Himself was tempted by satan in the desert.  He understands what we are going through.  Furthermore, he gave us the armor of God (Ephesians 6 10 – 20) and He wants you to give your challenges over to Him and to use the Word of God as your weapon.

Furthermore, the Lord never asked us to go into battle; He wants us to declare victory, because the battle has already been won on the cross through the death and resurrection of Christ.  Amen!  So this takes me to the next point.  Dear reader, are you now in a battle?  I am of the opinion, that if you are now in a battle, something went wrong and my advice is to pull out immediately.  If you are in a battle, then you are saying to satan that the challenge is on and that means you allow him to negotiate with you.

From experience I recommend that you don’t do that.  Don’t ever negotiate with satan.  He is deceiving you and his lies will only hurt you.  You don’t have to face satan that has already been done.  Simply stand up against the challenge and take the Word of God at heart.  Start declaring the victory of Christ and remember that satan has been defeated.  Every time you face a challenge, you should simply declare the truth as it is written in the Word of God.  Furthermore, stand firm (Isaiah 7:9) and resist the devil (James 4:7) because the enemy has been defeated.

When you stand firm in the truth, you will also be sensitive in the Spirit to pick up that satan wants to play games with you.  Remember dear reader, no games and no negotiations with satan.  So if you considered buying that one thing you wanted, knowing you can’t pay for it, then don’t!  If you know that it is going to be difficult to say no for a drink that will end up leaving you drunk, then don’t get yourself to a place or into a situation where you will be challenged with that.

If you have used drugs and want to be clean, choose it right now and don’t prolong.  Book yourself into a clinic, go for counseling and refrain from the people and places where you are faced with these challenge.  You see, satan simply sits waiting for you to take the bait and then, he tells you how pathetic you are and that you are a looser and that you have failed again.  I say be gone satan, in the name of Jesus Christ!  Amen!  Dear reader, I declare over your life right now, the victory of Jesus Christ who died for YOU!

If you choose right now to end negotiations with satan, then pray this prayer with me:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I declare that you are my strength when I feel both weak and strong.  Lord, I choose right now, to no longer negotiate with satan on anything.  Lord, Your Word is the truth and in Your Word You guide me on my decisions, marriage, finances, work and everything that I will now face and still will have to face.  I end negotiations now in Jesus name and choose Your victory!  I claim victory over every challenge in my life, in the Name of Jesus and declare that I can do everything through You who gives me strength (Phil 4:13).  Amen!”

In closure I want to remind you dear reader that satan only has a past and no future and therefore, he will come back to try again and again, to attack you and to bring you down.  Stand firm in your faith, continue to declare the truth and no matter what, don’t negotiate with satan!

With lots of love in Jesus Name

Princess K
