A happy new year my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. In the beginning of each year, I write a special letter with some inspiration for the year.

This year, I am going to give you some feedback on our achievements in 2021, invite you to join a new newsletter and give you a word of encouragement, focusing on your relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let me start with some feedback. In 2021, we once again had a great year, despite our 40% drop in income. Isn’t it amazing how Jesus made it possible for us to do lots more with less money? What an amazing God we serve!

In 2022, we had 32 outreach projects, we reached more than 700 people with these projects and we served more than 557 meals to the poor. Our website reached more than 122000 people from 84 countries and 1.7 million people were reached through our social media channels. Most importantly, MANY of these people accepted Jesus as their Saviour. Hallelujah!

We also distributed thousands of Christian literature and Bibles, answered more than 400 prayer requests and visited various individuals at their homes and hospitals for prayer. We visited many Children Homes and Old Age Homes, send out 23 Newsletters, posted 520 daily motivational WhatsApp messages and posted 690+ motivational messages on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr and Tiktok.

JTMR Radio also did great. In 2020 we had just over 8000 listeners, and in 2021, this jumped to more than 25000! Praise God! Remember, you can listen live to the radio at https://www.jtmrradio.co.za.

Last but not least, we built a brand new JTMR Radio website, added new content to our main website, built a new JTMR and JTMR Radio Android app, created JTMR Afrikaans on the website, Instagram and Facebook, built and maintained various websites for other NPO’s and offered personal counselling to many.

Thank you, Jesus, for these amazing achievements! All the glory to God. This has always been and will always be for His Kingdom and glory. Thank YOU, all our supporters, for your prayers, donations, and sponsorships. God bless you!

Secondly, I want to invite all of you to join our Donor Newsletter, which we send out once a month. You don’t have to be a donor to receive this special newsletter. The newsletter will give you a great idea about what we are busy with and how you can assist, should you wish to do so. Click here now to subscribe, or simply reply to this newsletter.

I want to end this newsletter, encouraging you this year to focus more on your relationship with Jesus than on anything else. I want to encourage you to make your main goal for 2022 to grow spiritually and move even closer to God, closer than you have ever been.

A lot has been happening in this fallen world over the last few years, and my brother and sister, things are not going to get easier. We are indeed living in the end times. We can work hard, play hard, plan like crazy, make lots of money, set huge goals, but what is all this worth, if Jesus comes to fetch us tomorrow and we are not ready?

I am not saying that you should not set goals, work hard or not enjoy life, but make sure that God is first in your life and in “charge” of every area. Even though things will get worse as time goes by, if we are anchored in Christ, then no matter what comes our way, we would have a Saviour holding our hands and taking us through all of it. In 2022, let us pray more, read more from the Bible, go to church more, do more Bible study, have more fellowship, worship often, have communion on a regular basis and fast more intensely.

Last but not least, please support your fellow brothers and sisters if you are in a position to do so. By support, I don’t only mean financially, but also mentally and spiritually. Let us really be there for one another. It is the right thing to do!

I want to invite you to join me on JTMR Radio this coming Sunday, 16 Jan 2022, when I will be talking more about this. Click here to download our JTMR Radio Android App or click here to listen live from our website.

As with my 2021-year end message, I end with this prayer over your life: May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6 verse 22 to 26.

God bless,
