Father God, I am so full of praise for who You are.  I don’t have words to explain my love to You.  Amen.  Jesus, oh Jesus.  When I say Your name on my lips, I fall in love with You all over again.  You are my best friend.  Amen!  Holy Spirit, I am so touched by Your gentleness, the way You always approach me, even when I hurt You.  I am besotted with You and want You to be part of my life forever.  Amen.

This week, as I was driving in my car, I was listening to a song from one of the Hillsong CD’s, singing “I feel You in my heart, in my heart oh God – You’re all I need.”  This touched me so deeply that the next moment I was crying so much that I could hardly see through my eyes.  The moment was so great, so deep and I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit, not just in the car but in my heart.  This made me want to write about my experience because we are so caught up in our challenges that we start focussing only on that.  Do we ever really stop for just a moment and realise what is really inside of us?

Dear reader, today’s article has a different angle to it.  Normally I share about a challenge that I have been through and how God has taken me through it, leaving me the winner having to share and encourage others with that testimony of victory.  This article however, I want to dedicate to the Holy Spirit of God living inside of me.  The best part of it is that He lives in all Christians, since the day that You gave You’re life to Jesus.  What I am asking you today, is whether you realise it?  Do you know the power that is within You, the power to move mountains, to heal the sick, to make the blind see, to forgive like Jesus have and the power to see any challenge through?  I know this, but in this week I again realised it.

As a young Christian, do you remember how you felt?  You went to church twice on a Sunday and could not wait to be in the presence of other believers, hoping to feed from the Word, from other’s experiences and to get to the point of feeling like You are on cloud nine?  Ever felt like that?  Nothing was too much to do for Jesus.  You got up early for bible study, you helped with projects at church and you changed the way you walked, talked and acted, because you felt God was present in your life.  The question is then, why did it stop or has it withered?  Why suddenly do you feel removed from God, is it an effort to get up for church and is it not so easy to say yes for God’s work anymore?  Why then do you first complain when asked how you are and why so negative about our country, your finances, and your marriage?  What on earth changed?

I want to tell you today, dear reader.  Get to know God, meet Him personally, give your heart to Him and that will give you that feeling of wanting to be with Him all the time.  However, what’s important to remember is that your relationship with Him is not only based on feelings, but mainly on faith.  When you don’t feel Him, You know He is there, because that is the promise in His Word (Joshua 1:5 – NIV).  When you go through difficult times it does not mean He has left you.  On the contrary, He is going through that with You (Isaiah 43:1-5 – NIV).  In having to make difficult choices and praying about it, not hearing anything from Him, it does not mean He is not there.  Perhaps your ears only want to hear what you want them to hear.  Open your spiritual ears and receive from God, His will as it says in Isaiah 30: 21 – NIV “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.””

My heart is so full of the grace of God as I am writing this article to you.  I am trying to express what is inside of me and words can’t capture my thoughts and feelings at this stage, so I trust that the Spirit is talking straight to your heart, that which He needs you to know right know.  I walk at work or sit in my office and people ask me why I stay so positive, how I keep believing?  Well it is simple, it is in my heart.  The Spirit of God is in my heart and I feel Him every moment of every day.  People then ask but don’t you feel far from God sometimes and the answer is NO!  How on earth can you ever feel far from God when He is right inside of you all the time?  The reason is straight forward; He feeds my heart, my thoughts and my actions every second of the day.  I talk to Him daily, saying “Holy Spirit of God, breathe in me., hold me, guide me.  I give myself over to you in every situation so that only the will of my Father will be done. Amen” This I do every moment of every day and that is why I don’t feel far from God.

Dear reader, if only you realise what is inside of you, what you have had inside of you since the day you gave your heart to Jesus.  Perhaps you don’t feel it anymore, because you have not have contact with the Holy Spirit inside of you.  Come on, snap out of that self pity feeling, stop blaming God for not being there, not hearing you!  Start by speaking directly to the Holy Spirit inside of you.  He is waiting so eagerly.  Even as I speak, my heart starts pounding; my body starts to feel warm, because I know that I know that He is only waiting on you!

Perhaps you have never met Jesus, never let the Holy Spirit come into your life.  Well, this is your opportunity right now.  No matter who you are or what you have done wrong, where you come from or the religion that you are in.  Come, let your heart be set free and invite Jesus into your life by praying this simple prayer.  The minute you have prayed it, your life WILL be transformed.  You will think and act differently because the Holy Spirit of God will move into your heart as you give your life over to Him.  Talk to Him daily and He will guide you in the way you should go!

Lord Jesus, I want this.  I want you to come into my heart and I want to have a personal relationship with You.  I give you my heart Lord Jesus.  I ask you to forgive me for all my sins and I now acknowledge that I only want to live for You.  Amen!

There you go dear reader.  Now, remember who you are and that God’s seed is in you (1 John 3:9 – NIV).  Fear for life and what it throws at you is no longer is an option, for it says in 1 John 4:18 that “there is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear.”  Remember, God is love and now lives in you. The Holy Spirit is in you, waiting on you.  What is your next move?

Feel Him in your heart dear reader, because He is there and He is all that you need!

With lots of love in Jesus Name

Princess K
