WHO AM I?

Father God, I worship You and You alone. Jesus You are my Redeemer and I love You! Holy Spirit I love You! Please take over who I am.

Dear reader. I have been writing to you since January 2008 from my heart as the Spirit of God has been directing me to do and today I would like to share my life story with you.

I was born in the Free State on 24 June 1971 on the border of Lesotho where my father worked as a policeman. I am one of six children and am the second youngest. We moved to the Western Cape where I spent most of my life. I completed my high school in 1989 at Tygerberg High and then started a career at Old Mutual as a clerk. During this time I met my loving husband who was a young Naval Officer. Not long after our marriage I gave birth to Carmen who today is a beautiful 18-year old and am completing her final year of high school. Rion was born six years after Carmen and is now busy with Gr 6.

I came to know Jesus when I was in Gr 6 and have been serving Him ever since. My husband as well as my children has a personal relationship with Jesus and hence He is the centre of our life. Thank You Jesus for saving us! Amen!

About five years ago, a prophet prophesised over my life and said I was going to write. At the time I did not know how, when and where but by December 2008 I started writing articles for Jesus to My Rescue. Thank You Jesus! Amen!

My life has been full of challenges, just like I’m sure everybody’s is. I was molested at the age of five by my sister’s friend, but praise God for forgiveness and healing. I have no scars left because I chose healing and forgiveness in Jesus name. When we choose to be healed and do it through faith, we step out of our circumstances and walk into victory. Always remember, you are what you choose to be. If you choose to be free, no matter what, you will be free! Amen!

Furthermore, I suffered for many years from a self image problem and about eight nine years ago, Jesus set me free. Amen! Now, the Spirit of God leads me to people who need prayer and healing in this area. I have grown in my inner self and now know who I am. I am His, I am crowned. I am redeemed. I am alive. I am free and will live forever! Amen.

When I look back at my life, all the memories of my childhood in my parent’s home were all good. I have always been loved, taken care of and have always been supported by my parents. Apart from Jesus, they are my mentors in life, the ones I always seek for guidance and direction. I can’t imagine my life without them. Mom and dad, I love you dearly, thank you for always being there for me. I have a good relationship with my sister and brothers and they have all impacted my life in a positive way.

So dear reader, I simply wanted to share with you a little bit about me as Princess K. The question why Princess K may be on your mind, well it is really simple. Who am I? I am a princess of the Holy One and my name starts with a K.

I leave you with my special scripture in my life, namely Isaiah 7 verse 9 that says “If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.”

Dear reader, have faith in Christ and yourself and remember that no matter what you have done or who you are, Jesus loves you unconditionally and wants to have a relationship with you. Know who you are and when satan tells you lies, go stand in front of a mirror and look deeper until you see what Jesus see. You are His!
