Help me in criminal case

Hi my name is Bradley and I need prayer and God in my life I recently got charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm but this is not true I was just standing up for my girlfriend Leanne Carol Howie when a big man was aggressive towards her with his fingers in her face and it looked as if he was going to hit her so I tackled him and kicked his bum. Please I am only 22 and can’t go to jail please pray for me and let God be on my side and forgive my sins.
