NOTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD
Matt 11:28 “Come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest”
When God send His invitation with His Word, He invited everyone to come to Him, including me. John 3: 16 said “for God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who Believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life”.
God never looked at what we have or what we don’t have, He only wanted us as we are, because of Him being an all- knowing God, He knew that we will encounter challenges that would made us to be weary and carry heavy burdens along the way. He knew that nothing will be too hard for Him.
Before I can go deeper, let me greet you in the Wonderful Name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour, the Name that is above all other names. My name is Patience Lukhele, a daughter of the Most High God, who is available to make the Kingdom of God Great by sharing what the Lord has laid in her heart.
Today I would love to share with you what the Lord has laid in my Heart, Nothing too hard for God. In life, we encounter challenges that are overwhelming to our Soul, Body and Spirit, which sometimes make us forget our Creator who is the Almighty God, “the one who knew us before He formed us in our mother’s womb“ Jer 1:5.
Before I gave my life to God, to be the first one in every area of my life as Matt 6:33 said, I would encounter challenges that seemed to be unsolvable, which sometimes caused me to think of giving up and seeing myself as a failure. This happened because I ‘ve allowed the thief of John 10:10 to steal, kill and destroy the spirit of Trusting and Believing that nothing is too hard for God and that all things are possible with God “Luke 1:37”. But because of God’s Love, Grace, and Mercy over my life He found and rescued me.
Today our weariness and heavy burdens is unemployment and drug abuse by our brothers & sisters, financial pressures and in short I can say not having the desires of our heart. God knows about all these weariness and heavy burdens of our life, which is why He said we must come to Him, so He can give us rest.
God said we don’t have because we don’t ask “James 4:2”, It was never too hard for God to Bless Hannah with a baby after years and years of being made fun off and taunted by Peninnah “1 Sam 1:1-18”. Hannah ask God to Bless her with a baby and it was done. If she didn’t do that, even today she wasn’t going to have baby Samuel.
Daniel was a faithful servant in God’s eyes, that is why again it was never too hard for God to shut the mouth of the lions just for Daniel, when He was thrown in the lion’s den “Daniel 6:1-28”. There are many scriptures in the Bible that testify that really nothing is too hard for God.
If you think giving up is an option, or God doesn’t love you enough you’re wrong, John 3:16 He gave His one and only Son for you and me just to have eternal life, no payment was required only for us to Believe in Him. The devil may try to waver us from God’s way and Word by throwing different and difficult challenges at us that will make us feel overwhelmed and lose focus on God.
One thing I can say, it’s not over until God said so. We need to get our motives and perspective right, if our motives and perspective are not right, we are like a soldier going out on war without being armed. It’s easy for that soldier to be defeated. But for us we know that as children of God we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places “Eph 6:12”. So, for us to have the right motives, it’s through Repentance, reading Gods Word and Meditating on it, Prayer & Fasting, living righteously and following all the commandments God gave us.
When I say, nothing is too hard for God, it’s because I’ve seen Him and His power in my life. God came to my rescue in many instances, but there’s this one that I would never forget when He changed my life completely and which taught me that no matter how difficult it may seem in life nothing will ever be too hard for God.
it was the year 2002 in the morning when I experienced a sharp pain on my ankle, I never took it serious and continued with my preparation for school as usually. I never knew that the pain will make me to leave school, as it put me down for one and a half months without walking, struggling to bath and had to be assisted. What I was doing best was to cry myself to sleep feeling sorry for myself, nursing the syndrome why me? The pain affected my leg and my left hand and people who saw me thought I had a stroke and I went in & out of medical doctors but they couldn’t find any fault or fractured bones, since they thought that it might be because of fractures, but scans came out normal.
It was a very devastating moment for me as I was not used to such a life. I started to complain a lot instead of Praying and due to focusing on my pain, things worsened. There was a time when I saw myself as being disabled and I even tried to console myself by saying if it’s God’s will its fine.
I didn’t do what James 4:7 said “resist the devil and he will flee from you”, but because of Almighty Gods Power He rescued me, He deposited the right motives and perspective in me. I repented for doubting God for who He is and His power, I changed the way I was praying and I did what Matt 17:20 said, having the mustard seed faith God spoke about, and kept on declaring the scripture 1 Pet 2:24 over my life and situation until He head my cry.
God healed me completely and gave me the rest from my unknown sickness. This happened due to allowing God’s will to take over my life and to be in control of everything, that is why I would always give Glory to God for what He has done in my life. If I’ve never allowed God to have His way with my life, I couldn’t have seen that nothing is too hard for Him.
Brothers, Sisters, Mothers, and Fathers wherever you are no matter how hard it may seem, don’t lose the position of God’s Word. God’s Word is Yes and Amen we need to Believe and Trust Him at all times. You may also read Psalms 23:1-6, Isaiah 41:10 and Heb 13:5.
May the Lord Almighty Bless you wherever you are and may you find His Favour in all you do.
Yours in Christ,
A daughter of the Most High God, Patience L
