GOD KNOWS IT ALL!

Father, in Jesus name we honour You as our God and King.  Jesus Christ, we honour You as the Lord of all.  Blessed be the name of the Lord.  Hallelujah!  Amen!

Have you ever watched a movie with a deeper meaning, which you only get to understand as the movie progress?  As the movie unveils, you suddenly get the message, the deeper meaning, the not so obvious.  The same is when we read something, which at first is just letters on paper, but as you continue to read, it communicates something deeper.  I love that moment when I “see” it or “hear” it with my heart and I get so excited, because for me, as a daughter of the Most High, it is then, when I hear and feel my God!  That moment is so special and then all I want is more and more of His revelations.  That is why Jesus does not only want your heart but also your time, so that He can reveal life’s secrets and His plan to us.  It is called, a personal relationship when you reveal things to another which other people would never know or understand.  Yes Lord!  We want more of You!

Let me tell you what the Holy Spirit showed me as I was studying the Word of God.  We read the same Scriptures over and over, and every time God reveals Himself to us in a new way.  Well, that is why it says in Hebrews 4:12 “For the Word of God is alive and active.  Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”  It does not say, you read it once and use it once and then it is over and done with.  NO!  It is alive and therefore as we keep on reading, the Holy Spirit reveals the heart of God to us.  Many don’t hear and see God because they are looking in the wrong place.  If you want God to explain to you what has happened in life, since the beginning of existence till now, your own life included, then read the Word of God.

If you want to know what is going on right now in the world and your life which is full of challenges and unanswered questions, then read the Word of God.  If you want to know God’s plan for your life, read the Word of God.  I am not just saying, open the Word and read as needed in times of trouble or because you feel you should.  No!  Read because You believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  Read because you acknowledge that God’s Word is one of the main ways He wants to communicate with us.  It is His Heart, His Plan, His Love and it is for all who wants it.  That is why so many people are persecuted for reading God’s Word.  If it was not the Truth and if it did not have Power, then why are people killed for using and following it?  Why threatened by the Word of God, if it is perceived not to be real?

All said, I want to share one of the Truths that the Holy Spirit revealed to me, as I was studying the Word of God.  I was reading the same Scriptures that I have read before, but this time a clear message stood out.  GOD KNOWS IT ALL!  You might say that we all know that God knows it all and you are right, but do we live that truth in our lives when we are facing challenges?  So, God reminded me once again that even in the most challenging times, with no answers to our questions, we need to know, understand and trust in Him, for GOD KNOWS IT ALL!  I would like to share the three Scriptures that the Holy Spirit gave me:

Luke 19:1 -10.  This Scripture is about when Jesus passed through Jericho.  There was a man, a tax collector, named Zacchaeus who so badly wanted to see Jesus that he climbed into a sycamore-fig tree.  Jesus saw him and called him by name to come down.  Jesus said to Zacchaeus that He must stay at his house that dayThat day, salvation came to the house of Zacchaeus.  Zacchaeus said to Jesus that he would pay back four times the amount to those, if he cheated anyone and he would give half of his possessions to the poor.  How did Jesus know that He had to, not wanted to, had to stay at Zacchaeus’s house on that day?  He knew, because GOD KNOWS IT ALL!  That day, was also the day when many people’s prayers were answered.  Zacchaeus said that if he cheated anyone, he would repay them four times.

So, where people were cheated by Zacchaeus, they had a shortage and I am sure they prayed to God many times to help them with their finances for they were then surely lacking.  That day when Jesus came to Jericho and stayed in Zacchaeus’s house, many people received their answers to prayers.  It was all planned by God.  Furthermore, Zacchaeus was expecting something to happen, otherwise he would not have run to get up in the tree before Jesus came.  What that tells me is that Zacchaeus must have been touched by the Holy Spirit to change his life.  Why else?  He wanted Jesus to see Him and he got so much more than he expected.  Hence, Zacchaeus’ household were saved, many lives were changed thereafter and those who were stolen from, received financial restoration.  All on that day!

Matthew 21:1 – 11 & Luke 19:28 – 44.  Here we read about the Triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey, never sat on before.  Before the entry, Jesus was travelling with His disciples and when they approached Bethpage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, He sent two of the disciples to go to the village ahead of them.  Jesus said to them: ““Go into the village ahead of you; there, as you enter, you will find a colt tied on which no one yet has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.  “If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of it.’”  So those who were sent went away and found it just as He had told them.  As they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, “Why are you untying the colt?”  They said, “The Lord has need of it.””  How did Jesus know that the colt would be there, tied up and never sat on before?  He knew, because GOD KNOWS IT ALL!  How did He know that someone will ask why the colt is needed and therefore gave His disciples the answer to give in preparation?  He knew, because GOD KNOWS IT ALL!  How did the owners of the colt knew to have a colt, never sat on before, tied up in the exact spot where Jesus said it would be?  They knew, because I believe, just like Zacchaeus, the Holy Spirit guided them, whether they knew or understood it at that point in time or not.  Once again, God’s Master Plan revealed and executed.

Acts 4:23 – 31.  In this passage about the believers’ prayer, we read about how Peter and John, after their release from going before the Sanhedrin, spoke to their own people on what has happened.  Then the people raised their voices together and prayed to God saying: For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose predestined to occur.”  This is the ultimate confirmation that GOD KNOWS IT ALL!  He knew how His creation has become and that they were lost.  The only way to ensure that there would be redemption and salvation for His children, who are called by His name, would be to send His Son, Jesus Christ.  He came and died for all of us, taking the sin of the world upon Him.  That, is why God allowed what happened to happen, in the way it did, when it did and with the people involved.  He planned it all out and dear reader, that plan is yet to be completed.  Me, you and all those around us, are all still in The Plan, His Plan.  This Plan will play out all the way until Jesus returns.  God says in Philippians 1:6: “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”  We are here for one purpose only, God’s Master Plan.  So, if everyone is in God’s Master Plan, do we all know our roles in His Plan?  I know that I have been chosen by God, so I have accepted my role.  Do I have the full picture and all the answers to always understand my role?  No!  Many times, God speaks to me but other times He is silent and that is when I go back to His Word, to find what I need to know, see and hear.  This is daily and I simply cannot begin to tell you how God is speaking to me, showing me, answering me.

Dear reader, do you know and have you accepted your role in God’s Plan?  If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Personal Saviour, you can pray this prayer (attach link).  By accepting Jesus Christ as your Saviour, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of you.  If you want to know God’s Plan, have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit.  Speak to Him, ask Him to reveal things to you and then follow His direction in everything your do.  Then, you will start to see God’s Plan and how it unfolds.

In conclusion, I would like to highlight something important in our relationship with Jesus Christ.  We already said that God speaks to us through His Word, as revealed by the Holy Spirit.  Hence, if a person is not in Christ, they are blinded to the message in the Word.  However, for us in Christ, who read the Word daily, we need to hear it, believe it and apply it to our lives.  When challenges hit hard, as they normally do, we need to remember that GOD KNOWS IT ALL!  We therefore should not attempt to fight these challenges on an earthly level with our eyes fixed on the challenges, for then we will be overwhelmed.  God’s Word is active through the Holy Spirit and therefore we are talking about a spiritual level on which He wants us to function.  By looking up towards God and towards the Word of God, you will see, hear, understand and accept your victory on the level of Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.  Then, we become fearless, and the enemy and things in this world will no longer affect us.  They happen yes, but it will not affect you like it used to.  You will stand on the promise that your GOD KNOWS IT ALL and that you trust in Him.

Love in Christ, Princess K
